Description: 

In this course, students will acquire the skills to understand Cisco Interconnected Network Devices. The skills students learn in this course will help prepare them for opportunities in the Information Technology field.

This course is designed to cover all the learning objectives for the Cisco exam ICND1  (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices part 1).

General Topics:  Networking Fundamentals, Implementing Basic Ethernet LANs, Designing VLANs, IPV4, Addressing and Subnetting, Implementing IPV4, IPV4 Services, IPV6, Network Device Management

Prerequisites:  No previous experience with Network Computing.  However students must have basic computer literacy and be able to:

Interact with the instructor and other students via email, the Canvas (LMS) Learning Management System and other web based forums as required.

Who should attend?  Anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of Computer Networking using Cisco devices and gain an entry level certification in the IT field.
