Collaboration Studio (HCS) at HCC

1602 N. 15th St (Corner of 15th St. and 5th Ave)

Parking:  Parking is available in our parking lot or the 15th Street Centro Ybor Garage, walk across the street and the front of the building is located off of 5th Ave. Please bring your ticket in to be validated at the front desk before the start of your class.  If you park in the garage you must be out by 7:00 PM.

Description:  Ready for 2018? Let’s get ready together by creating inspiration boards for the New Year!

Class fee includes all necessary supplies (canvas, paper, magazines, adhesives and more!). Feel free to bring personal photos and/or cherished mementos such as fortune cookie sayings, parts of greeting cards, scraps of beloved fabric, etc.

No experience necessary.


Instructor:  While Olivia Thornton was raised in South Carolina, she has also lived in Pennsylvania and Florida. She now resides full-time in Florida. In the fall of 2017, Olivia will begin working as the 2D, 3D and Digital Arts Teacher at the new Rowlett Middle Academy for Arts & Communication in Bradenton, FL. Currently, Olivia is finishing up her first and last year as the K-5 Visual Arts Teacher at Rowlett Academy for Arts & Communication and working as a part-time, (youth/adult) visual arts instructor/visual artist/camp instructor at the following locations:  Hillsborough Community College’s Institute for Corporate & Continuing Education (FL), the Morean Arts Center (FL), Carrollwood Cultural Center (FL), ArtCenter Manatee (FL), Let’s Paint This! (FL), North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation (SC), Coastal Carolina University’s Carolina Kids Camp (SC), Tampa Museum of Art (FL), University of South Florida’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute et al.
