The TECO Tampa Electric Scholarship Opportunity

The Hillsborough Community College Electrical Line Worker Training Program is a scholarship-based program designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge and basic skills needed when seeking a career in the electric utility industry as an Apprentice Line Worker.  Our 4-month training program prepares scholarship recipients to apply for the TECO Apprentice Line Worker position (during TECO’s posting window).  

• HCC cannot guarantee employment.
• HCC does not determine the hiring schedule or hiring processes of TECO or other employers.
