Description: Speak confidently in Spanish by continuing the development of the basic conversational skills associated with this language. The classwork builds on Spanish 1 skills of speaking vocabulary and overall comprehension. In this class, students continue to learn more basic grammar concepts and apply them during the conversational part of the class. This class reinforces the unusual concepts learned in Spanish such as placing the subject after the verb, and that is usually true with the verb gustar – to like. Upon completion of this class, students will be able to engage in a Spanish conversation using basic conversation skills.
