This is how you will access your classroom course. This is also how you will access your online live synchronous meeting software.
Course Format: This is a training course that includes online self-study, online presentations, and interactive support with the instructor.
Course Technology Requirements: Desktop computer, laptop computer, Chromebook, or tablet with an internet connection and Chrome browser recommended. A computer microphone and camera are required for class participation. Mobile phones may not be compatible with interactive course tools and modules.
Note: You are responsible for picking up your workbooks.

The State of Florida Department of Children and Families approved The Institute for Corporate and Continuing Education at Hillsborough Community College to be a provider of the Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course on October 29, 2019.
Description: All classes shall include a means of verifying the identity of participants. Please provide your required state-approved photo identification. You will not be able to attend this course without your state-approved photo identification. You are required to be present on camera during the 4-hour class. Please be on time for class. If you are considered late, you must register and pay for a new class.
This 4-hour live “Parenting Course” means the Parent Education and Family Stabilization Course designated pursuant to Section 61.21(2) (a), F.S., to provide information to parents as that information relates to court actions between the parents involving parental responsibility, care, time-sharing, and support of a child or children. Each class will include a required 25 question multiple-choice test designed to demonstrate the level of comprehension of the learning objectives by the participant. You must pass the test to receive your certificate.

"Indigent” means a determination of civil indigent status made by the clerk of the circuit court in which the underlying custody case is being heard. If you have the original court-approved Indigent Status form, the course fee is $30.00 (payable by check, money order or credit card). Please bring your form to our office to register in person at Collaboration Studio, 1602 N. 15th St., Tampa, FL 33605.
