Description: Foundations: Beginning in English is a language course designed for students who want to develop a foundation in academic English - listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills - in order to enter the EAP (English for Academic Purposes) program in Level 1 at HCC. This course is for those who speak no English or very little English.
After successfully completing this course, you will be able to:
- Enter the EAP (English for Academic Purposes) program in Level 1 at Hillsborough Community College
- Communicate using the English language
