Description:  In this class, you will learn that Zentangles is not painting, but are miniature pieces of unplanned, abstract, black and white art created through a very specific method from an ensemble of simple, structured patterns called tangles on square paper tile. Zentangles are not only exquisitely beautiful, they are fun and relaxing to create.

The process of creating a Zentangle is a form of "artistic meditation" as one becomes completely engrossed in making each pattern, deliberately focusing on one stroke at a time. The creativity options and pattern combinations are boundless. Anyone can do it!

About the Instructor:  Realizing in the 4th grade while living in El Paso, Texas, patsy knew she would be a nurse and eagerly accepted her future.  Thru nursing classes at a technical school, she became an LVN 1970 as a senior in High School.  Then at UTEP, she received in 1974 a BSN, then MS as a Burn Clinical Specialist with a minor in Education thru TWU in 1978. Living in Texas was great, then she married into the Army and saw Alabama, New Jersey, West Point, parts of Germany then finally Virginia.

Having moved to Florida in 1999, she continues her nursing career a bit differently.  In 2009, patsy became a Certified Zentangle Teacher, a Laughter Yoga leader in 2013 then shortly later, a Certified Health Coach.

Realizing our greatest health risk is STRESS, patsy is focused on helping others reduce it in their lives.  Join her in a Zentangle class.  Learn tangling techniques to use in Mindful Meditation and Choose to be Healthier!
