Entrance/Parking:  The HCC entrance is in the lower level of the building underneath the breezeway (back of the building).  Parking is located on the side of the building (lower level).  The upper level of the building is an event space.  (Dual purpose building)

Description:  Attend this 2-hour art class for a reflective art experience! Explore varied topics in new ways! We will begin with paint and then use different media to create personal maps that are unique to each artist.

Class fee includes all necessary supplies (paint, paper, brushes, palette and more!) as well as your first mapping project! Feel free to bring personal photos and/or saved mementos to this new, exciting topic in the art world!  No experience necessary.

:  While Olivia Thornton was raised in South Carolina, she has also lived in Pennsylvania and Florida. She now resides full-time in Florida. In the fall of 2017, Olivia will begin working as the 2D, 3D and Digital Arts Teacher at the new Rowlett Middle Academy for Arts & Communication in Bradenton, FL. Currently, Olivia is finishing up her first and last year as the K-5 Visual Arts Teacher at Rowlett Academy for Arts & Communication and working as a part-time, (youth/adult) visual arts instructor/visual artist/camp instructor at the following locations:  Hillsborough Community College’s Institute for Corporate & Continuing Education (FL), the Morean Arts Center (FL), Carrollwood Cultural Center (FL), ArtCenter Manatee (FL), Let’s Paint This! (FL), North Myrtle Beach Parks and Recreation (SC), Coastal Carolina University’s Carolina Kids Camp (SC), Tampa Museum of Art (FL), University of South Florida’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute et al.
