Note: There is no textbook for this course.  Skills will be reinforced as needed through Adobe online help and tutorials. 

Description: Adobe InDesign-Beginner is a project based course that will help students acquire the skills necessary to produce professional InDeisgn projects for use in the workplace or in your personal life.  Through guided instruction and working in the Adobe Creative Cloud students will learn basic skills, such as Creating Basic Documents & Layouts, Understanding Tool Controls & Menu Options, Using Tools, Exporting Documents in Different Formats and Generating an Interactive Web Document. 

General Topics: InDesign Fundamentals, Visual Enhancements, Intermediate Designs and Completing a Project.

Prerequisites: No previous experience with Adobe products is required, but basic familiarity with productivity programs such as Microsoft Word as well as basic computer and web navigation would be helpful.

Who should attend?  Anyone who wants to learn how to create and modify items such as brochures, signs and interactive web documents on a professional level.
