This course is designed to introduce an experienced computer user to the tools necessary to be an effective designer and/or developer for the World Wide Web. The student will gain the skills necessary to develop and maintain complex websites, including a fundamental understanding of the protocols and vocabulary of web production in addition to client-server dynamics. The course is structured to take you through the entire development process of a website, from initial design through post production. Topics covered will include HTML, XHTML, interactive graphics, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and forms.
