PCAP-31-02 Certification
Being a Certified Python Programmer ensures proficiency and technical knowledge in project-critical IT job roles. This course will prepare students for the PCAP-31-02 exam. This certification is a professional credential that measures your ability to accomplish coding tasks related to the basics of programming in the Python language and the fundamental notions and techniques used in object-oriented programming.

Course Description
This course will continue learning from Python Level one and introduce participants to advanced tasks related to Python coding. In addition to the course, it will prepare students for the 31-02 exam. The lab provides a hands-on learning experience in a safe, online virtual environment. The course and lab will completely cover the objectives of the 31-02 exam and include topics like conditional execution, loops, Python programming language syntax, semantics, and the runtime environment, as well as with general coding techniques and object-oriented programming and more.

After completing this course, you will know how to:

  • Perform Operations using Data Types and Operators
  • Control Flow with Decisions and Loops
  • Perform Input and Output Operations
  • Document and Structure Code
  • Perform Troubleshooting and Error Handling
  • Perform Operations Using Modules and Tools
  • Understand Boolean values to compare difference values and control the execution paths using the if and if-else instructions
  • Apply the fundamentals of OOP (Object Oriented Programming)

 

Prerequisites

Participants are expected to have experience in writing with the Python syntax, recognize data types, and can solve logical problems using the language. Participants are also expected to have 50 hours of hands on experience with the Python programming language and be familiar with the different features of the language including the ability to understand the different phases of software development.
