Description: This course will help you to acquire the skills necessary to utilize the basic to advanced concepts of Microsoft Outlook in the workplace environment or in your personal life. You will read and send emails, manage contacts, track tasks and schedule appointments. In addition you will learn the more advanced concepts and skills with Microsoft Outlook such as, organizing items, using advanced message properties, customization, account management and collaborating with others.
General Topics: Creating and acting on messages, Working with signatures, Managing contacts & groups, Creating, managing and assigning tasks, Using the calendar for scheduling and meetings, Account management, Categorizing items, searching, filtering and using rules, Customizing message appearance, Performing mail merges.
Prerequisites: No previous experience with Microsoft Outlook 2016 is required, but it is highly recommended. Basic familiarity with personal computers, Microsoft Windows and web navigation is needed.
- This is an accelerated course, so prior experience with Outlook will improve individual learning outcomes.
Who should attend? Anyone who wants to better utilize Microsoft Outlook for professional level communication and organization in their work and personal life.
