Description: Microsoft Access 2013 Level 3-Advanced is the last of a three part series. The delivery method involves hands-on experience in a computer center using Access software.  Students will learn skills, such as how to Create Advanced Queries & Macros, Importing & Exporting Objects and Optimizing Resources in the Database.  

General Topics: Querying with SQL, Advanced Queries, Macros, Working with Objects and Database Management.

Prerequisites: Be familiar with the environment and basic functions of Access. Suggested course: Microsoft Access 2013 Level 2-Intermediate

Who should attend? Office professionals, small business owners and anyone who needs advanced skills and concepts to fully utilize Access in managing data.  

After taking this course, participants will be able to:

* Query with SQL - SQL and Access, write SQL queries and attach queries to controls

* Advanced Queries - Create crosstab & parameter queries and using action queries

* Macros - Create, run & modify macros, create macros to provide user interaction and create macros for data transfer

* Objects - Import, export & link objects, work with XML documents and use hyperlink fields

*Database Management - Optimize resources, protect database and set options & properties
