Description: Microsoft Excel 2016 Certifcation is a class designed to teach students how to utilize Excel to improve efficiency in the workplace. The class also prepares students to take Microsoft MOS Certification Exam 77-727 (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.  (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site..  The delivery method involves hands-on experience in a computer center using Excel spreadsheets to create basic data reports. Students will learn basic through advanced skills, such as Excel Terminology, Entering & Editing Data, Basic Excel Functions, Managing Workbooks & Worksheets, Creating Tables, Data & Tables Management and Exporting and Importing Data.  

General Topics: Introduction to Excel, Modifying a Worksheet, Formatting, Data Structure and Analytical Tools 

Prerequisites: Be familiar with personal computers, use of keyboard and mouse. Suggested course: Computer Basics & Introduction to Microsoft Office

Who should attend? Office professionals, small business owners and anyone with no excel skills and/or experience who wants to learn how to use Excel and earn the MOS Excel 2016 Certification. 

Microsoft Certification:  Prior to the conclusion of training students will consult with the instructor and coordinator to schedule a date/time to take the Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016 Exam at the HCC-ICCE Test Center on Davis Island.  This voucher can be used at the ICCE testing facilities located at the Corporate Training Center.  The certification is recognized nationwide.
