Note: There is no textbook for this course. Skills will be reinforced as needed through Adobe online help and tutorials.
Description: Adobe Illustrator is a project based course that will help students acquire the skills necessary to produce professional Illustrator projects for use in the workplace or in your personal life. Through guided instruction and working in the Adobe Creative Cloud students will learn basic skills, such as Creating Basic Documents & Layouts, Understanding Tool Controls & Menu Options, Using Tools and Exporting Documents in Different Formats.
General Topics: Illustrator Fundamentals, Elements of Design, Intermediate Designs and Completing a Project.
Prerequisites: No previous experience with Adobe products is required, but basic familiarity with productivity programs such as Microsoft Word as well as basic computer and web navigation would be helpful.
Who should attend? Anyone who wants to learn how to create and modify items such as logos, flyers and business cards on a professional level.
