Meeting Times: 8am-2pm
Overview: Students will learn hands-on the electronic assembly processes involved in soldering and wire harness/cabling. Students will earn certifications in IPC 620, J Standard, and IPC 610 as preparation for working in electronic assembly.
Objectives: Prepare students for industry certification in IPC 620, J Standard, and IPC 610 and for employment opportunities in electronic assembly
Who Should Attend: Anyone with interested in a career in soldering and cabling.
Prerequisite Skills and/or Experience: Must be 18 years or older.
Instructor: Greg Cecil, M.A.S.
Gregory N. Cecil, M.A.S. is the only Florida State Certified Educator and Nationally Certified Aerospace Technician in the nation. Gregory holds a Masters in Aeronautical Science: Space Operations Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Gregory previously worked in the Space Shuttle Program at Kennedy Space Center.
